This patient came to us with the desire for whiter, straighter teeth. After discussing the pros and cons of whitening vs. veneers vs. crowns, the patient elected to do 8 crowns.
Because she wanted shorter appointments, we chose CEREC same-visit crowns. We created a wax mock-up so the patient could first approve the aesthetics. Next, our dentist fabricated 4 CEREC crowns in a 4-hour sitting. (This may sound like a long time, but the patient gets a 2-hour break while the dentist works on the crowns.)
The following day, our dentist in Centennial completed the remaining 4 final crowns in the same manner. As a side note, we generally do all 8 crowns in 6 hours, but this patient preferred two shorter appointments.
